The Aéro-club de Joliette inc. exists since the mid-eighties and its first mission was to participate in the management of the reconstruction in 1988 of the Joliette Airport on a site located south of rang Double in the Municipality of St-Ambroise-de-Kildare.
The Aéro-club de Joliette Inc. was commissioned again July 14, 2008 by the City of Joliette to assume the complete management of operations of the Airport for a period of 25 years.
The Aéro-club currently has about 225 members and around 200 aircraft are permanently stationed outside or parked and / or stored in the existing 60 hangars.
